Brie and Tyler's Post:

Hello!  Happy Birthday belated birthday to Tyler on Saturday!  We didn't have his party on Saturday cuz daddy went to do something with his truck club.  Tyler was kinda sad and thought that everyone forgot!  But mommie made up for it on Sunday!  We had "surf and turf" for dinner!  Yep, that's right, BOTH steak and fish!  WOW!  Bailey didn't get any, he's still too little!

Then it was time for Tyler to open his presents.  He got a really cool wishbone shaped nylabone, a lion stuffy that makes the coolest sounds and a cute duckie stuffie!  Bailey isn't in any of the pics cuz he wouldn't sit still!  He was all kinds of wound up!   Tyler also had an extra special bithday "cake".  It was an egg with a candle in it!  As soon as mommie finishes putting software on the puter, we'll post some of the pics!

We don't want this post to be too long and want to give Bailey a chance to post, so we'll tell you more tales really soon!

Bailey's Post:

Uh oh!  I kinda got in some trouble again.  Mommie says it's a good thing I'm cute!  The other night when it was time to sleep, I wanted to play again!  First I was playing with the picture frame.  So mommie turns on the touch lamp next to the picture frame and tells me "no" (she forgot to bring the squirt bottle and was too lazy to get up and get it).  Then she turms the lamp off.  What do I do?  I turn the lamp on.  tee hee.  Then she turns it off and, yep, I turned it back on!  What a fun game!  This went on about 6 times til finally she scooped me up and put me on the bed.  Sheesh, she always ruins my fun!

I was playing in Tyler's water bowl too!  All the water was out of it, so I decided to take a nap and chase my tale and stuff in it!  

I was trying to take a nap, but mommie came and found me and woke me up!  How rude!  She said something about sleeping when everyone else sleeps and playing when everyone else is up!  I think mommie is confused!

Hi everyone!  Well, we sure have been busy!  between playing with each other, playing with Bailey, sleeping, eating and completely redoing our blog (which thanx to mommie killing her computer was more time consuming than it needed to me)  we haven't had much time to blog!  And not from lack of tales to tell!  We shoulda just left it as it was, but since mommie got us these nice graphics, we wanted to use them for Tyler's birthday.

If anyone watched the Eukanuba dog show on Animal Planet tonight, that beautiful samoyed you saw was none other than Tyler's gorgeous brother, Spike!  He sure did look handsome!

Mommie was kinda miffed at Bailey.  You see, she wants all of us to sleep in the bed with her and daddy, but we choose to sleep in the bathroom where it's cooler.  Well, Bailey has been good about sleeping on the bed.. that is until last night *giggle*.  Bailey slept with us in the bathroom!  Mommie woke up at 4 a.m. and was checking to see where the lil dude was sleeping, and there he was, curled up next to Tyler!  (awwwwwwwwwwwwwww)  We (Bailey and Brie) decided to be nice and get in bed then (Tyler stayed in the bathroom, he's kinda lazy).

Bailey is getting BIG!  He's growing so fast!  We all love to play together.  Bailey's favorite spot to sleep during the day while mommie and daddy are at work, is on Tyler's crate.  We think he doesn't like to be alone, so he hangs out with us!

Mommie has been taking a ton of pictures, but she can't add them here or to Bailey's page until she gets her computer fixed.  Well, if she really wanted to, she could hook the card reader up to daddy's computer, but we think she's lazy (shhhhh don't tell her we said that!)

Bailey's also getting to be a real spit-fire.  He jumps and hops all over the place!  He gets in trouble a lot too (kinda like we did when we were little.. ok ok ok.. like we do now too!)  He especially gets in trouble when he plays with cords!  We have lots of squirt bottles ready and waiting for him!  HE actually gets yelled at for "torturing" US!  Yep, that's right.. he's comes and "attacks" us and we just look at him and daddy tells him "don't bite my dogs".  

Mommie is getting more sleep now.  She got smart and now takes that noisy collar off Bailey before we go to bed.  So at least if he does decide to roam, he's not jingly about it!  But he's also been sleeping more at night!

If we don't get around to tag everyone tomorrow, we'll be by on Saturday for sure!

Did everyone have a nice Easter?  We did!  We both got new lamb stuffies and Bailey got a new red bunny toy.  We had to pose for pictures first before we could play with them.  We got a little bit of ham, a hard boiled egg and some good juice on our food tonight (not Bailey though, he's too little to get people food).

OK, so don't laugh but, this morning Brie was making her little crying noises before it was time to get up.  Mommie told her to "go lay down" cuz she thought Brie was just being obnoxious.  Well, the reason for the noise was cuz we had locked ourselves in the bathroom!  How embarrassing!  Of course, mommie has a smart comment like:  "If you'd sleep on the bed instead of in the bathroom, you wouldn't get in this predicament."  But it's hot on the bed and cool on the bathroom floor!.  We think she was really mad at Bailey and not us, cuz he had been up for a couple hours playing and getting in trouble by being noisy!  We tried to tell him "shhhhhhh" but he doesn't listen!

Bailey is soooo goofy!  Mommie got him is very own food and water bowls.  She put them at his level, cuz ours are in raised feeders and he can't really reach them.  So what does the lil goofball do? He either stretches up on his hind legs and drinks from one of our bowls, or gets on his eating crate (mommie has to put his food bowl inside a crate so piggie Brie doesn't eat his food) and leans into our big bowls!  We sure hope he doesn't fall in!

Bailey's Post:

Ya know, there's another cat that lives here.  He's only in the bedroom and he looks just like me!  Whenever I try to play with him, though, I hit a wall!?!  Another funny thing about that cat.. he's always doing exactly what I do, only in the opposite direction.

I kinda, sorta got in lots of trouble all last night.  The night started out really good cuz I went to bed like a good boy.  But then by 1:45 I was wide awake.  I have a noisy bell on my collar so I woke mommie up playing.  She took my collar off me.  But then a couple house later, I woke her up again... playing with my collar!  (well it is mine!)  She hid it so then I found other stuff in the bedroom to play with.  Then all the sudden I got WET!  AGH!  Water was coming at me from a blue squirt bottle!  Mommie fell back asleep, only to have me wake her again about an hour later.  Let's just say mommie wasn't too happy with me.  She still have me lots of hugs and kisses, but she kept telling me what a rotten kittie I was.  (Doesn't she realize that cats are nocturnal?)

Brie and Tyler helped me get a page made!  There's not too much to it right now, but there's a slideshow with a LOT of pictures!  And of course we'll be adding more cuz mommie takes tons of pictures of us!

Hi everyone!  Brie and Tyler let me post tonight so I can tell you about all the fun we've been having!  One of my favorite games to play is "follow the kitty".  I run so they will chase me but they get yelled at for chasing me (mommie yells:  "don't chase my kitty!"  lol!  tee hee hee.. looks like I'm the new King of the House!)  

The first night here was a little scary.  I was introduced to these two HUGE, hairy white things!  EEK!  All they wanted to do was sniff my butt.. sheesh!  Wasn't once enough?  The boy, Tyler, was pretty cool.  He's kinda calm and I decided he was OK.  Then the hyper girl, Brie came in.  OMG!  What a S-P-A-Z!  She would not stop whining!  Mommie and daddy had to put the doggie gate up to keep them out of the room so I could have some peace and quiet.

By Monday, everyone was getting along great!  Those white, hairy things even go outside and stay out there for a while now!  I can play with my mice and feathers without them badgering me all the time!  (Howvever, Brie did get yelled at for eating the feathers off one of my furry mice last night!)  They still like to kiss me and slime me.  They use their big ole snouts to push me around too.  But they are really nice and don't try to hurt me at all!

Another thing I love to do is chase the mouse on mommie's computer!  I even chase the falling objects that some pages have (like the Easter bones on Brie and Tyler's page).

Mommie says I'm having an identity crisis cuz I like to play with the dogs' bones!  Guess it's OK for me to post in "Dog Dish" then!  For now mommie says I don't get my own blog, but as most of you know, if we ask often enough, mommie's give in!

Well, I'll talk to you all again soon, but now it's time for me to give myself a bath and then take a nap on mommie's desk.

We got rain!  Mommie was getting so mad at us this evening.  We rang the bell to go outside.  When she realized it was raining she wanted us to hurry up.  But we wouldn't!  We took our sweet time!  tee hee hee

All along mommie and daddy have been telling Tyler that when we get a kitty, it will be HIS kitty.  Well, it's official.  The lil guy loves him!  Today mommie was checking on the lil guy and found him snuggled up next to Tyler!  Then later on, Tyler was laying in the hallway and the lil dude walks over to him and snuggles in.  Guess it's official!  He's Tyler's cat!

Hello!  Well, it's been an exciting couple of days!  As most of you know, on Friday evening mommie and daddy brought home out new kitty!  They were kinda sneaky about it.  Daddy came in the house first and took us outside top play.  Mommie snuck in with the kitty.  Then eventually daddy put leashes on us and brought us in.  It wasn't love at first site!  lol!  The kitty hissed and spit at us and batted us!  Before long it was OK, though.  Tyler, being the calmest, got to make friends first.  Then it was Brie's turn.  Once mommie and daddy were sure we weren't gonna try to eat him and he wasn't gonna scratch our eyes out everyone was free to roam.  Daddy was getting stressed cuz we kept following and nosing the lil guy and Brie kept whining.  Mommie was getting stressed cuz daddy was getting stressed but she thought all was progressing nicely... *doggie sigh*

Mommie took the lil guy to bed and he slept there for a few hours, but then she felt his little claws on here and woke up.. at 3 a.m. (doggie giggles).  So, of course, we got up too!  Brie started her whining again and poor daddy was trying to sleep cuz he had to get up at 5 a.m. to go to work.  Finally, after playing with the lil guy a while, we all went back to bed until the alarm went off.  Saturday was much better, we both followed him around and nosed him whenever he was active.  If he was sleeping we totally ignored him.  He meows like a toy!

Today we were better about following and nosing him.  A lot of times we even ignored him.  It's just so much fun to follow him around.

Yesterday after mommie got out of the shower, she "lost" him.  He wasn't in the den or closet or under the futon.  Well Tyler found him!  He had climbed on mommie's desk and if it weren't for Tyler.. mommie would still be looking for him!  So see!  It's a good thing we are here!

We are gonna help him make a webpage so you can see some of his cute pictures.  Here are a couple of Tyler and the lil guy hanging out earlier today.

Mommie weighed us today.  She wanted to know how much the lil guy weighed.  That doesn't mean she had to weigh us too though.  Sheesh.  Brie did really good since the last time, 51 pounds.  Tyler still needs to eat more, he's a skinny 57.5 pounds.  And the lil guy weighs in at 2 pounds 4 ounces!

I'm sure you've noticed that we still haven't decided on a name.  Mostly cuz we've been so busy playing with him, we haven't taken a moment to pick his name.  So if you haven't voted, you still can to try to help us decide!  (It's still the same poll, we just added it to today's bog entry.)

OK, daddy finally came up with some other names he likes.  We made a poll with the names that mommie and daddy both decided are kinda cool.  Vote for your favorite name for our new kitty to help us decide!  If you have another suggestion, tag or email us!

We thought sure we were gonna be tortured tonight.  We heard mommie saying we needed to be brushed so she can take pictures of us tomorrow with the lil guy!  We sure are glad she procrastinates and never got around to it!  We got everything else ready for the lil guy to come home though!  There's litter in the tootsie roll machine... errrr... we mean litter box.  His new bowls are in his eating crate (a small crate which is supposed to keep Brie from eating his food.. ya right).  His toys are on his play tower.  And his carrying bag is ready to go too!  We can't WAIT!

We're getting really excited about him coming home.  You should have seen us sniffing daddy when he got home yesterday!  It was almost as good as being there with him!

One "bad" thing is that mommie and daddy aren't leaving the back door open for us anymore!  We like it when let us out in the backyard, but leave the door open for us to come and go as we please.  Well, now they've started closing it on us!  They don't want to forget and leave it open once the lil guy comes home.  We're gonna go ring the bell now so they'll let us out!

Hi everyone!  We've added some new Daily Sniffs to our list!  How fun to have all these new kittie and doggie bloggers!  We're especially excited to meet Kellie's two kitties!

We need to apologize for not getting around to tag and sniff everyone.  But we have a REALLY good reason!  We've been kitty-proofing our house!  Yep, you heard right... we're getting a KITTY!  YAY!  Mommie and daddy went to the Shelter last Saturday and adopted him.  He gets to come home this coming Friday.  The box the Fedex guy brought had his new kitty play tower and a bunch of other stuff for him!  (We think he has more toys than us!  OK.. not really.. but they sure do look like fun!)  Mommie went to visit him and his sisters yesterday.  She left us home and was gone a loooooong time.  But she brought back lots of good smells and lots of pictures.  If you would like to see a few more pics of our kitty and his sisters, click here or on the lil guy's picture.

We plan to help him make his own webpage but mommie thinks that he will just share our blog with us.  But never say never.  

We haven't picked out a name for him yet.  Mommie likes:  Zach (short for Zachary).  Daddy hasn't really given too many ideas except:  Ozzie.  Daddy also mentioned Frodo, but mommie doesn't want to name him that.  *Sigh* hopefully he'll have a name sooner than Tyler did! (It took them FOREVER to choose that!)  If anyone had any suggestions, we would love to hear them!  Feel free to tag us or email us with your suggestions!

We almost got two kitties, one for each of us, but mommie missed getting one of his sisters by one day.  By the time they decided to adopt the little white kitty, she was already adopted.  *pout*  However, all is not lost, they have 4 more kitties that are one week old today.  So we will most likely adopt one of them!  YAY!  We'll keep you posted!

The Fedex guy came today and left a big box.  It was from one of our favoritest places:  UPCO.  Why is it our favoritest do you ask?  Well cuz they sell pet stuff! (i.e. toys, bones, treats & stuff)  Mommie hid some of the stuff from us (something about birthdays) without letting us see it.

We haven't done too much exciting this week.  Just the same old stuff.  We thought we'd post our Friday Five while waiting for mommie to feed us (she's LATE!)

1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?  2 - our sammie mama's home and our current home
2. Which was your favorite and why?  Well both!  Our original home cuz our mama's lived there and our sisters/brothers.  (and Tyler loved the kitties!)  Our current house because we are spoiled and loved and because we have a huge yard to dig holes in!
3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?  Well, it was kinda stressful when we first moved, cuz it was the first time without our mamas and grandmas and sisters/brothers.  I think it would be stressful now cuz we don't like change.
4. What's more important, location or price?  Location!  (and a steady supply of food)
5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?  A Huge yard with lots of space to dig.  A pool to swim and dig in.  NO dog bath or grooming areas!!!!  A kitchen that dispenses unlimited amounts of food!
